Jason Bailey

Jason is a Jacksonville native, who’s lived his life here in our hometown. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, before graduating from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Jason started his career in law enforcement with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in 2006. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2016. That same year, Jason was voted Police Officer of the year.

In 2020, Jason was promoted to his current rank of Lieutenant, where he currently serves as the Commander of the JSO K9 and Mounted Units.

In addition to serving his community as a law enforcement officer, Jason has also worked with high school students for the last 15 years, serving as the baseball coach at Bishop Kenny High School.
